Keystones to Success

In the small town I was born in northeast Iowa is a beautiful limestone bridge nestled in the heart of the town. In fact, I have many memories riding my bicycle over it as a child, stopping to watch the water falling over a large dam. History has it as the longest and oldest keystone bridge west of the Mississippi River. So what?

First of all, understand the definition of a “keystone” is:

  • Central stone in an arch. Architecture the wedge-shaped stone at the highest point of an arch that locks the others in place.

  • Supporting element. Something on which other interrelated things depend.

Second, let me introduce to you the Keystones to Success™ we’ve just created for our clients. Basically, it is a system of training and strategic planning for developing leaders and staff to create a culture of high performance and customer satisfaction. It is comprised a nine core solutions that define our expertise and have proven to get desired results for our clients.

During our recent strategic planning, we refined our business and evaluated what brings our clients’ success. There appeared to be a core of solutions that consistently met their challenges or helped to achieve their goals. Another way of looking at is through the 80-20 Rule. 80 percent of our client’s problems were addressed with 20 percent of our solutions…whether it was a training workshop, strategic planning pro-treat™, book, video or learning assessment.

We then took a closer look at those 20 percent and realized they addressed organizational, leadership and team development issues…essentially a top-down or bottom-up approach to making a difference with the employees, managers and leaders within a company. To illustrate those core services, we have created a business strategy called the Keystones to Success™
